Representation of Witnesses and Victims

Witnesses in criminal cases often find themselves in a vulnerable position. Tactical missteps, imprecise wording, or careless remarks—whether during informal conversations or formal interrogations—can result in a shift of procedural status to that of a suspect or defendant.

Investigative pressure, procedural manipulation, and violations of rights are just as common for witnesses as they are for suspects.

We step in at an early stage, when preventing escalation is critical. We analyze the circumstances, assess potential risks, help define a proper course of action and legal stance, and accompany clients during questioning—eliminating mistakes, safeguarding procedural rights, and protecting against unlawful pressure from law enforcement agencies.

Victims, on the other hand, face different risks—formalistic investigations, bureaucratic delays, or outright refusals to initiate proceedings. These issues can lead to loss of assets, reputational damage, and the inability to restore violated rights.

We secure the initiation of criminal proceedings, build effective communication with investigative bodies, and ensure that investigations are carried out actively, in good faith, and with tangible legal outcomes.
